Later that night, Chalino was kidnapped by alleged Police and by the morning, he’d be found dead. Chalino Sanchez was crowned the King of Corridos and is the idol of many musicians today, including Peso Pluma, who in 2023 went viral after receiving his own death note.  The message warned Peso Pluma that if he performed his upcoming concert in Tijuana, it would be his last.
