Seven years of existence for the podcast, week after week, every appointment honored and five full seasons of broadcasts!
Out of respect for the work accomplished and all the architects' words memorized, “consigned”, all the focus projects, our intention was to launch season 6 in a realistic, resolutely constructive and inspiring way!

So, enjoy this S6 #2, dedicated to the projects of a humble, still-young and much-awarded French office.
In this issue, after introducing Atelier Georges*, Aurélien Delchet, one of its associates, explains the stakes involved in two of their emblematic projects: their involvement in sector E of the Village des Athlètes in Saint-Ouen and the rehabilitation of the Mellinet barracks in Nantes. Two pieces of work to be carried out under extraordinary conditions.
Far from the starification of the profession, a resolutely forward-looking issue to open this new season!

Il y a dix ans, l'Atelier Georges était lauréat du palmarès des jeunes urbanistes. Aujourd'hui et après avoir remporté de nombreuses et autres récompenses, l'agence implantée à Montreuil et à Nantes, relève les défis d'importants projets, tels, par exemple celui de la caserne Mellinet à Nantes en association avec les urbanistes TGTLP (13,5 hectares à réhabiliter et à renouveler) ou bien celui du Village des Athlètes secteur E à Saint-Ouen avec la coordination paysagère et deux immeubles en R+5. Cette nouvelle génération de bâtisseurs, qui sait humblement préserver ce qui en vaut la peine, aux commandes maintenant, reçoit cette immense responsabilité que celle de la transition écologique. Comment aborder ce moment charnière entre bâtir, réhabiliter, déminéraliser, tracer l'urbain, planter pour des lendemains désirables bien que potentiellement soumis aux violents "caprices du temps"...?

Dans ce numéro de Com d'Archi, après avoir évoqué leurs parcours respectifs, Aurélien Delchet et Yvan Okotnikoff au nom de leur agence expliquent les enjeux de leurs projets et leur vision transdisciplinaire. Ils l'expriment eux-mêmes, il ne s'agit pas de tomber dans l'incantation mais bien de convaincre pour agir dans un changement de paradigme ambitieux. Un numéro résolument tourné vers l'avenir pour débuter notre saison 6, loin des gargarismes en tous genres.

What do we see when we walk past a building? A facade, an era, a material? And what do we know about life inside, what deserves to be preserved, and what could evolve?

Ahead of France’s National Architecture Days, taking place October 15–18, 2026, Anne-Charlotte Depondt explores how we look at architecture and heritage, through the theme of this 11th edition: “Rehabilitate: Building the Future.”
In this SPOT episode, she shares her reflections on working with what already exists, passing on modern architectural heritage, and architects’ responsibility in the face of climate change. She also suggests places to visit, from bioclimatic homes and restored heritage buildings to Villa Savoye, as well as a lecture by Francis Soler at the French Ministry of Culture.

Que voyons-nous d’un bâtiment lorsque nous passons devant lui ? Une façade, une époque, un matériau ? Et que savons-nous de ce qui se vit à l’intérieur, de ce qui mérite de rester et de ce qui pourrait évoluer ?

À l’approche des Journées nationales de l’architecture, du 15 au 18 octobre 2026, Anne-Charlotte Depondt interroge nos regards sur l’architecture et le patrimoine, autour du thème de cette 11e édition : « Réhabiliter : bâtir l’avenir ».
Dans ce SPOT, elle partage ses réflexions sur le « faire avec le déjà-là », la transmission du patrimoine moderne et la responsabilité architecturale face au climat. Elle propose également plusieurs pistes de visites, de maisons bioclimatiques en patrimoines réhabilités, jusqu’à la villa Savoye et à la conférence de Francis Soler au ministère de la Culture.

Une invitation à entrer dans les bâtiments et les agences, à écouter et à prendre le temps de voir.

In a way, Moritz and Philipp Auer were born in the heart of the Olympic space. Today, they represent two of the five partners in their iconic German architectural practice. Discover their DNA through their own voices, in this exceptional and unprecedented issue.

With a staff of 150 from some 20 countries, Auer Weber is a vast team with a wealth of experience and specialist skills, enabling them to handle projects on a multitude of scales and assignments. In a collegial atmosphere, they take part in between 30 and 40 competitions each year, from their two agency locations in Stuttgart and Munich, most of which result in commissions. Projects range from community buildings to major infrastructure works, including administrative, educational, sports and leisure facilities.
